2mhz mode with EF3

What’s the issue here? EF3 explicitly doesn’t support it, why?

Will it work on EF3-emulation such as 1541u2 or the Cameleon?

I though one of the firmware patches made it 2mhz safe.

Interesting idea. I don' know, but if 2mhz would be possible than TC64 offers actually 20mhz turbo mode supporting undocumented opcode contrary to all 65816 based accelerator cards.

I can confirm this works fine with native EF3 cart. Doesn't work with the 1541u2+ emulation of EF3 though.

THAT sounds really interesting to me. Any further details on that 20MHz on Turbo Chameleon 64, and where to find?

Thanx in advance!

"Turbo function with full 6510 processor compatibility (this includes all illegal opcodes!). For the first time, a C64 accelerator does not use a 16-bit processor, but an accelerated 6510. The "Synthmark" benchmark shows that the TC64 is even faster than the former champion, the SuperCPU (TC64 scores factor 9.78, the SCPU scores 5.48). Especially applications like Geos or Pagefox gain a lot of improved usability from this speed increase." https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/produkt-details/product/Turbo_Ch..

Yeah, saw that one already. But thanks anyhow, Hedning.
