Sizecoding tips at www.sizecoding.org
Since I complained that the sizecoding page that is linked at http://www.lovebyte.party/ was missing info about the C64 system, I sat down and added my humble knowledge to the article.
If somebody has additional ideas and is motivated, pls. contribute to the Wiki at the following address:
http://www.sizecoding.org/wiki/6502_based_CPUs#Commodore_64
Feel also free to correct my mistakes and inaccuracies :-) |

That's pretty comprehensive for a start. :)
One thing that came up while skimming over it is using a little BASIC program before SYS to machine code part, which would generate a sine curve or other data in quite a compact way.
Will add some stuff here and there, but the article should in some way or other also go to Codebase64.org. =) |

Not that I would be doing any size coding anytime soon, but still some useful tips for a beginner like me, written in a very clear and easy-to-read style. Thanks! |

Cool write up wil.
I learned a whole bunch about auto-start methods that I didn't know before. |

Great start!
I found a little typo
"Therefore, the VIC uses register at $D011 and the highest bit of register $D012 to represent the current raster line"
This should be the other way around: The high bit of the rasterline is in $d011 and normal rasterline in $d012 |

The captchas are quite hard, admittedly, and very PC scene centered.
I got the 1996 Statix airplane question and didn't know the answer right away, but a bit of web-searching revealed the answer ("paper").
Just click reload on the create-account page until that question appears. |

I also had to google to find the answer for each capture. But I like reading scene-related stuff, even if it is PC :-) |

Well, until you stumble upon "What is your favorite assembler for sizecoding?" and wonder whether any of the accepted answers would work for 6502 assembly. =) |
