Howto get RR-Net emulation to work in VICE on OSX
Hi,
I'm trying out contiki 2.2.2. I would like to test my code before I write it to a floppy and test it on my (t)rusty C64. I have VICE running on OSX, but I can't get the ethernet emulation to work. Do you know anyone with the same setup that got it to work?
Regards,

rtfm! =) you must run vice as root to enable rr-net emulation. also keep in mind that vice can only "see" the network outside the host computer, it can not communicate with something (eg a webserver or whatever you might want to use for testing) running on the host computer itself. |

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I found out the problem... it does not seem to work with OSX wifi. I just pugged in a network cable and now I can point my webbrowser to contiki on VICE. Nice!
Thanks guys and happy C64!
