Maybe TronMon (+ xass) is something to look into? Available on a link through this page:

CCS Mon looks good, how can I display the Directory from there? Isn't there a command for that? |

good ol' days when I resetted the machine with a fork, then loaded a monitor to 8000 or c000, to rip music, or check out code :) |

not a paperclip? heretic!
+1 for SMON from me =) (and yes, the builtin monitors of the various emulators are also very powerful - not exactly "native" though =)) |

@leticia:
Differences in CCS-MON from HESMON 2.0
--------------------------------------
- Memory are banked using $01 so memory under I/O and kernal
may be accessed.
- Disk and Tape turbo added.
- load sector "L <tt> <ss> <addr>" and save sector "S <tt> <ss> <addr>"
added.
- The external relinker 'E' has been removed, and replaced with a
command that installs a break handler at $ffef-$ffff.
(allowing BRK and NMI with kernal switched out.)
- The break-point command does no longer takes a count value.
- '%' binary to hex.
- Wildcards for hunt 'H'. (e.g H 0800 4000 8D XX D0)
- Function Keys
F1 - directory
F3 - alternate colors
F5 - L 08
F8 - clear mem ($0800-$ffff) (from my readme to DTVMON V1.2)
and hesmon.txt typed by rmelnick. (for hesmon 1.1 but mostly the same) |
