Release id #58059 : Eskimo Games

this has no crackintro, is the boot-file a memfreeze!?
this could as well be NTSC/PAL, someone please have a deep look!!
if someone finds a version which has the intro attached, please upload that version as well!

You don't mean this one: Eskimo Games +F?

no, its a different 'release'
no crack intro here at all
and i doubt the credits from that one as well
during the first scooter sequence, you can read Powerplants and TMBC's 'credits' on the screen
thats why i came to the conclusion this wide spread thing is an earlier legend version... just no crackintro here.

I think someone removed the intro and spread it. The person who did it didnt see it contained credits in the game

i would like to have someone look at the boot/loader-file
this is 188 blocks while the two-intros-attached-loader from the import has much less
can someone look at this file and perhaps tell us if its memfreezed or something, that would strengthen the 'intro removed later'-theory

It doesn't look freezed, as there's a two-phase crunch with a clean jump to $1400 as the init address.

Normally, freezed programs have the VIC settings stored and reset those as start.
This doesn't happen with this file and also the start-JMP is too 'nice' :-)

(again just from old remembering, no guarantee): I think Legend put it out quick quick (no intro) to prove they could also first release CP-Verlag games to Action and other groups who had their focus on such releases.
