No, most of us started with basic/assembler stuff in a local group growing slowly during the years.
Facing our own problems in creating whilst we looked upon the "REAL" stuff done by Crest, Blackmail, Horizon, Censor, Panoramic and so on...
People, the repertoire, “the essence of the scene” or whatever we labelled the scene.

Some years later and a lot of hard work we noticed that people liked what we/one did!
It's all about hard work and boy did many of us release a lot of crap during those (and perhaps still do at times) years...

There has always been a fair amount of "useless tripe" released in the scene. Plenty of crap groups, crap coders, etc. - you get the idea. That is how people grow, you must practice to get better.

What I find funny is the double standard that appears to exist here. When some "old timers" pops up and starts making some elitest comments he is shouted down with phrasing like "Haven't you grown up", "Elites are long gone!", etc. The same people also appear to believe only "uber quality" releases should be here or released in general. I think some people have some serious issues to examine with themselves.

I believe there is already enough bullshit here at the database. Do we really need to add another layer of watchdogs and censoring. After all, most of you people believe everything should be free and wild, but seem to want to censor people at every new step.

It's funny how people are offended by two
simple 10 block Koala pics. LMFAO!
:))
Lots of love and respect to all you guys..
Your comments, some of them far-fetched and
curious - in no disrespect, have been very
helpful to me. Thanks! :)

No, it's because you're fucking up our database with crap.
That was the whole point.

We're debating how to prevent this in the future. Not only by you but also by other clueless people with converting tools who don't have the slightest idea what The Scene means or is.

On the positive/constructive side, better stick to your SID composing. You're much better at that.

Yep, your SIDding is much more powerful than piccing. If you want to go "mainstream", just release crowd-pleasers, publish more music. If you want to go "underground", release more Jeez' pics to stir up things ;)
