Working on a small intro and looking for a tune, anyone wants to collaborate?
Thought I try the forum, I'm working on a new intro for fun and would be great to get some music to go with it as I'm absolutely useless in that camp :)
Just tinkering on the C64/Amiga after a 30+ years hiatus from the old school assembler programming so nothing fancy, but would be great to collaborate with someone and get some great music to go with it. |

Hi Honcho,
same here, playing around with C64 and Amiga after a while. If you need any inspiration have a look at my playground: https://github.com/pararaum/c64playground. Music can mostly be got at HVSC https://hvsc.c64.org/. Licence and copyright can be problematic but most of the sceners you can find here, just ask them and I think many of them will be helpful. Please sent a link to your current work!
See ya...

“Licence and Copyright”? In the scene these things don’t exist.
In the 80s it was common to rip tunes and graphics from others’ demos... just credit the right people and you’re fine. |

Of course an exclusive tune is always nicer. :) |

Quoting Raistlin“Licence and Copyright”? In the scene these things don’t exist.
In the 80s it was common to rip tunes and graphics from others’ demos... just credit the right people and you’re fine. Looking at a few open-source tools and inside many SID tunes, licences and copyright do exist in the scene. Attribution being one of the most prominent things they demand. =) |
