dmc filter question
hello everyone
I have just been playing around in dmc 5.1 today. I have been able to add a filter to a sound which restarts its loop everytime a new note is played.
But I want to have a filter whose frequency changes slowly over sevaral notes. The only way I could achieve a similar effect was to use FRQ xx commands in the sector editor with slightly increasing xx. It does not sound exactly like what I want.
Is there another way to have a filter over a complete track changing irrespective of the instruments and the notes?

The workaround would be to have 2 sounds one with some complicated filter loop enabled and another not using filtertable but having all other parameters exactly the same. (should work if changing sounds wouldn't also reset filter table (in 5.1) ) |

as far as I remember there was a command like "continuous Filter" already in DMC 5.1, which solves your problem. Unfortunately I can't remember on which key it resides...
