Feature requests
To give the database more cohesiveness, and allow for better cross-linking, I propose the following features:
1. Ability to add a person or group as the SUBJECT/TARGET of a production - for instance, I would want to add ESI here as the subject of this rag demo: The Terds of ESI (BTW, USSPE sucks donkey balls - this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, I just don't want anyone to forget how much they suck)
2. Ability to add a person or group as GREETED/MENTIONED in a production - this would help track the history of non-group members through the scene.
3. Ability to add a BBS as MENTIONED in a production - this would help by adding supporting records to the BBS entries.
4. Some way to record scene history that doesn't directly involve releases - maybe events could be used for this? (I'm thinking specifically of things like the UCF/ESI war) |

Being able to link someone as "greeted" in a production would be helpful - think about the vast quantity of early releases greeting Headbanger, for instance - it would provide way of measuring their influence in the scene that simply counting releases doesn't. |

Everyone greeted everyone who was just a little bit known. It doesnt really tell anything. |

Something tells me that this kind of quantitative research of scene history is best done with a set of automated tools on a dump of all CSDb image files. |

and it would provide an easy interface for finding who to rag on for not greeting you \o/ |

I smell a get-greetings-from-demo compo. Extra points for not decrunching. +5 for mentioning Compyx and/or Focus. IRQ-loader points to determine later. |
