please add wrap=on to code blocks
whenever someone posts code, using the bbcode for example, with a super long line, it'll make the whole thread superwide and hard to read.
as ppl are lazy, they don't check their posts when they can still edit them.
so, here's an easy fix, add the following inline style to the <pre> block:<pre wrap=on> should be easy fix ;)
copy/pasting retains the non wrapped version, so it wont break anything.
thnx in advance ;)
here's an example |

@Gpz: Not sure if "behaves different from other browsers" is a good definition of "rules" though. :) I agree with Burglar that this is kinda disturbing and messy. |

it only behaves differently if you press that "fit into page" button :) (which i use permanently, because it doesnt do any harm and makes a lot of forum stuff more useable) |

I use Opera, too, and I have never encountered this problem. But if someone else does, with other browsers, I think it is more appropriate to provide a solution (especially when the OP was kind enough to provide such a "fix"), rather than just resisting it for no good reason. It could even have been done in the amount of time needed to write these comments here.

Added the <pre wrap=on> feature.
Let me know if it's better or worse. :) |
