Have you considered the Programmers Reference Guide ????

The Programmer's Reference Guide is just that, a reference guide - it's rather dry and certainly not the easiest book to learn programming from. Something like Programming the Commoodore 64 by Rae West or Jim Butterfield's Machine Language for the Commodore 64 would be far better, although neither is an etext at the moment to my knowledge (but i could well be wrong). |

Funny you should say that... i learnt 6502 from Rae West's VIC book and VIC 20 Machine Code by Bruce Smith - got a lot of time for Rae West's work in particular. |
