Wondering if anyone is interested in this book
I was out shopping today at a thrift store and came across a book called: Experiments With Eproms by Dave Prochnow (1st ed, 1st print) (1988) tab books
ISBN 083060362x
I was all excited, sort of like I was when I found my bit-mapped graphics book by Steve Rimmer.
It has a couple small stains on it, doesn't affect reading though.
I thought of putting it on Ebay, but not sure, as I was never really into eprom burns, but knew a lot of c64 guys that did (elwix being one).
Should I put it up? I ask, because if anybody here shows an interest, I will allow international shipping on the auction. I also ask because, again, I have no idea if people still deal with eproms as they once had.
I'll put it on ebay if anybody shows interest, and I'll also put the link here if that happens.
Thanks All! |

I've passed this link along to someone that might be interested, he fiddles with eproms quite a bit for his c64 projects. |

Thanks Moloch..
I should mention that my book auctions typically start at $0.99 (US).
***EDIT
While doing research on the book, I discovered, the dust jacket is gone. It is hardcover.
Book description:
" Provides both a detailed explanation of underlying theory, plus 15 different projects, including programmers, erasers, and EPROM-based circuits to give home electronics, robotics, and computer experimenters hands-on understanding of how these versatile devices work. " |

If anything you seek, let me know. A lot of books come across my hands and I don't mind keeping an eye out.
Thanks again!

If you don't mind I'll jump on this offer :)
I'm looking for a book from Sybex for quite some time now.
It's from the 6502 series by Rodnay Zaks.
This series consists of 4 books. I have 3 of them.
Vol.1 Programming the 6502
Vol.2 Programming Exercises for the 6502
Vol.3 6502 Application Book
Vol.4 6502 Games Book
I'm missing Vol.2 here. So if you, or anyone else, has this book and would like to part with it, please get in touch.
A scan, of course, would be also appreciated for a start :) |

I'll keep my eyes open for that.
I haven't come across any 6502 stuff. Took me a while to get my older brother to remember c64 stuff that I want (practically anything).
I'm still looking for a programmers ref guide myself. I remember having 2 at one point, at the same time, but where they are now is something I often think about.
The only c64 stuff I've found thus far: 2 of the manual binder "books" that came with your c64.
A "commodore 64: getting the most from it" by Tim Onosko
Bit-mapped graphics by Steve Rimmer. This one I'm finding a fun read because it deals with graphic modes, has code examples and I think was made during the "386" era, you know, 256 max colors.
I'll keep an eye out though. And if I come across anything interesting, I'll mention it. |

Quoting ZorchVol.2 Programming Exercises for the 6502
Yep, I'm in the same position. I routinely search Abe and Alibris for the title and it never comes up. |
