And a few disks I got from an auction on Facebook - sold by CRL (who's also on csdb):
https://krakenfiles.com/view/vC6Ht2F6E4/file.html
and a few tapes I exchanged at the same source:

Most, if not all stuff already added to csdb... |

Hello folks!
Here is a collection of mine which contains almost exclusively and quite completely all releases from the group "The OUG-Team."
The images were given to me years ago by the founder of the group (Brille). I wanted to upload them to the CSDb, but I don't have the time, so here is the collection for all of you.
Greetings Holger

Thanks for the share Holger! I worked my way through almost the whole set tonight. There were several missing releases from that pack I was able to add to the database. I'll finish them up tomorrow unless someone beats me to it. |

Hi Guys,
I noticed that on the net and on c64disks.hvilket.net you can only find "Ayatollah_Karton_BOX01_final", "Ayatollah_Karton_BOX03_disksonly" and "Ayatollah_Karton_BOX03_scansonly".
Does anyone have the Box02? The zip should contain the directories Bigbox05-10.
Please upload

No problem at all guys, I'm always glad to lend a helping hand :) A huge thanks from me to everyone out there dumping and sharing any and all disks!
Not to sidetrack things too much but if anyone is sitting on disks that need dumping, please check out Looking for disk dumpers
There are many folks who are willing to help dump your disks if you just don't have the time or hardware to do so. The main purpose of that project was to link up folks with people that have the time and equipment to help out. There is even a map with the dumpers "general" location to help cut down on any shipping costs. I hope it proves useful at some point :) |

Now they are mirrored under /Paladin, but I don't think they belong there, as he was only kind enough to help with an extra link. They belong to the rest of the Ayatollah dumps. They all belong under /TMB, who dumped them to begin with. Please correct me if I am wrong.
There are some "Fireman_Ayatollah" dumps from 2009 as well, available online. |

in the last days i sorted out most of the user filled tapes i got when i bought some commodore stuff. many of them read good, others are bad and some of the tapes went directly into the bin...
i dumped with dc2n 4lc - and exported with tapex from dmp to t64. maybe sometimes tap would be better? i dont know.
you can play around, dmp file is included. dont expect something new. i only dumped each side with 1 run. if 2nd side is missing - than it was empty and i stopped to save my time.

Capture of some tapes I bought earlier this month.
Added 9 releases to CSDB from them (which is not much for 30-40 tapes). Still, get 'em up there :).

Very nice structure and names on the dumped tapes!
I wish more would keep it like that.
I've done this since I got serious with tape preservation.
It's so much easier to go back, redump a tape, if something is needed. When you've got them in such a nice structure :)
01_Maxell_UDI46_Band_1_A.dmp
01_Maxell_UDI46_Band_1_B.dmp
02_TDK_AD90_Band_2_A.dmp
02_TDK_AD90_Band_2_B.dmp
02_TDK_AD90_Band_2_A_P1.dmp
02_TDK_AD90_Band_2_B_REV1.dmp
The first number is the number written on the tape or folder, in a particular serie.
The second is the brand name and minutes.
The third is the name on the tape.
The fourth is side A/B.
Then I have added some prefix:
P= Part (can be a different writings on the same tape. ALAS: past data/different aligned signals:
REV= Revisions. Like if the tape has been re-read with a different setting.
I also store the dumps files in different directories, to keep track of the batches/clamps I do. To make it more easy to go back and seek for things needed.
Maybe we should try set this as a standard? :) |

Well, Xiny, happy it's of use. I haven't quite followed your guidelines on these, but they're at least as accurately named as earlier ones. Also, Conan/Rebels (Amiga) mentioned something to me about changing datasette speeds which I would guess the .prg extraction programs would not support, which would explain some of the errors on the tape images below. I'm not smart enough to know what to do about it (and after all, these old turbo tapes tend to contain a lot of the same stuff as well as quite a few errors).
But, to get to the point:
(Tapes from Conan/Rebels - his own, mainly, from way back)
https://krakenfiles.com/view/BAwDnspFAL/file.html
(Tapes I bought earlier this month for 150 dkr. (~€20)
https://krakenfiles.com/view/3zkfXJU1VZ/file.html
This release was (among a very few others) added from it - it's not working from these images, but I managed to get a working version after several tries and working the good ol' azimuth screwdriver:
Xevious
I also have some disk images, but would like to see if some of them is actually C128/1571 disks before adding here - and still need to get my 1571 repaired. |

Hi guys,
Big thanks to Acidchild for the huge amount of work for transfering and preserving 600+ disks, and to MDZ and CBA for verifying the whole lot of them.
Anyway, a downloadlink of my disk collection (which I thought was long lost but eventually found under a coat of dust in my garage) is right here: https://files.fm/u/54quyqrhd?ak=dda2f

It must be a false positive. I downloaded it onto Linux and extracted the D64s. There's no weird files as far as I can tell.
Recompressed into a zip file and it's not triggering as a virus threat |

Change AV immediately, whatever you're using must be uninstalled if it gets tricked by a 7z containing d64s and no executable.
I use Avast free, didn't find anything in this file (as every sane AV should), it's good and they're fast in fixing false positives when I report them. |

I use Total AV, and no alarm. I agree: change AV. |

Microsoft defender was flagging a false positive.
Given that it's just as good as third party AV solutions it makes no sense to use anything else IMHO
Although in this case it was being stupid |

I do not know if anybody already went through this:
https://www.dumpclub64.it/dumpingsessions/
https://www.dumpclub64.it/ricerca/
There is ~8GB of files, C64 and Amiga. many scanned originals, but also a lot of Italian scene discs and many user discs.
Files are mostly on mega.co,nz, some on google drive and other places. I have went through downloads on second link, and I am still going through the first one. I still need to split Amiga and C64, and when I finish I can upload C64 part somewhere, if needed (in that case do you need only non-originals, or are originals also needed?). |

Would be great to share all c64 scene stuff. Originals should go to https://c64preservation.com/ |

Here is my latest batch, around 240 scene/home disks and around 70 originals (I think that the content on those is original, but I am not sure). Also, I f...ed up my own floppy numbering, started at some point from some old number...
https://8bitchip.info/oub/Commodore/Floppy%20Backup/D64Backup6...
I have tried to read bad floppies multiple times (those attempts are in Errors subdirectory), and fixed what I could with pyd64fix. If you find some damaged floppy interesting, I bought Greaseweazle, but had no 5.25 drive until a couple of days ago and I have not yet had the time to connect and try that. |

I met with Bulldog/Spirit over the weekend and he gave me a couple of disks, which I transferred this morning.
I don't know if there's anything useful on them. Some of the disks were already pretty damaged.
But I would like to share them with you anyway.

Tapes are in the process. Have to clean and repair them first. Then I can start the real work to extract the data! |
