207 line, interlace graphics
Couple questions, does the vice 2.3 support the 128's vic with interlace mode, does it support pal mixing, how does pal mixing work (my first guess is pal forms the color from two lines on top of each other), has anyone used the 207 line real graphics mode in a demo and does vice emulate it.
Just catching up after 20 years here :)
From what I knew from 20 years ago, the ultimate resolution is 411x242 pixels (now you can do 411x478? pixels).

Oh yeah, and VICE supports PAL color mixing if you turn on "CRT emulation". |

@Repose: check the first part at the side b of Royal Arte 100% it's a 40x26 IFLI picture (320x208). vice emulates it of course.
411x478? 478??? you mean in interlace mode (25hz scrolling trick)?
p.s: i just noticed that you were talking about 128, sorry. |

No interlace support, no 64Hz (and friends) and no new colors. But I think it handles the 2MHz mode (to some extent) nowadays, and the VDC emulation has improved, although it still doesn't seem to handle all parts of Risen from oblivion properly. |
