Sidplayr64 on DTV

Someone mentioned to me that the Sidplay64 TOD (Time of Day clock) doesn't work on the DTV. Which makes it impossible to use the random play/play next function.
The clock only shows ??:??:??

I know zero about the DTV myself.
Maybe someone here knows if there are any special issues with the dtv ?

There is no TOD in the DTV CIA implementation. It returns all zeroes IIRC.
