Ideas, thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Hey all.

I recently took 2 small sections of 2x4 wood, and carved out what you'll see in the link (for the life of me, I can't figure out how to post the picture). I used a couple X-Acto knives to do the artwork (hehe) with the wood and I still have some sanding and a bit more to even out.

I figured who better to ask about coloring than the wonderful people of CSDb :)

So please, any suggestions on coloring, or extra carving would be really helpful.

you should colour it like they did with logos/chars in the '88 era. :_D

That was exactly my first thought as well. A real-life 3D C64 logo would look awesome! :)

I'm too lazy to find the website for you, but have you heard from that guy who got a wooden C64 made in Africa?
This carving made me think of that :-)

Good grief, this wooden C64 is truly amazing... even the graphics symbols are included! 8-o
