Demos with VSP
Due to several peoples researching crashes occuring during VSP, please add Demos with VSP (or likewise $d011 manipulations) here.
I start with two trackmos, If-then-elbe has vsp at last part (should run forever on vsp-prone c64s), Neon uses vsp for the oscilloscope-part.
PS: We need tags at csdb!

My experience is that the VSP crash/bug seems to occur more easily when the VSP is done somewhere on the screen. There is also the possibility to do it on the very first line, and that seems to be more gentle to the HW. At least that's what i've learned from my own c128.
This also reflect the use of VSP in Booze Design demos.. In 1 Year Totally Stoned almost every part is a possible crasher, while later demos like Tsunami and Royal Arte 100% only make use of VSP on the first line. |
